Ok I need to fill this post up quick before I forget any information. It's like so cool, I asked for some hints, anything, to spark some imagination and today was great! So I shall start from the start of the school day so I can ensure(hopefully) nothing is left out.

Wow, first lesson was BC. Overall, lesson was great but nerve-wrecking, teacher was cool, but the jokes came from someone who was not even in the BC class. Guess who? Yes, it's none other than the piggy sleepyhead CHEN XINYUAN! Woohoo, yayyyyyyyyy, hurrayyyyyy~~~~~~~Then what's that you ask? What's the big deal? She skipped a lesson of BC, that's cool! Eh, wrong. It would have been cool until Allan told the teacher that she might be asleep. So the whole class and the teacher were laughing and all that and the teacher kept talking about the class attendance,'Hmmm, Xinyuan is not here, still sleeping(followed by laughter from the class).' So Xinyuan don't kill me, it's not me, it's Allan's fault! Yeah! And it was Lyncia who told us you were sleeping so it's Lyncia's fault too! So unleash your vengeance upon them. I will cheer you on!

Then APEL class. Boring. Allan only went for the position of Social Rep. So disappointing. I expected him to raise his hands and go 'me me!' for every single position. Then when the teacher asked whether anyone is not happy with the people selected and wants to fight for the position, Allan didn't go demand a one-on-one match with the other people in the other 5 positions. Hell, I expected him to challenge for the position of Social rep just to see his name written on the board again. Tsk. Boring guy.

Then CRA was even worse. Holy hell, crappy shit lesson of 2 freaking hours. Basically the idea I had from this tutorial is that you just have to print out the various FRS or the article the question was based on, present it, and you got the answer. Better than trying to find 4 sentences out of like what, 50 pages? So in the midst of Gerald Koh droning on(using sect 5aiii we can conclude...), Henry and me were trying to find some amusement. We saw Allan. He was sleeping. As usual. So during his sleep, we talked about his ongoing love saga between 3 people. We were good students, we applied what we learnt in it.
Allan is a great boss. He controls his biggest asset, Holding Company. Then sometimes when he's bored with Holding Company, he will go over to the accounting department and 'do' up his Cash Flow. After that he will go to a shopping centre and randomly picks on Xtra Large shirts cause he likes doing that.
Well, in short we meant that Allan likes HC, CF and XL. Don't get any ideas.

Oh and congrats to Xueli for being elected to be Class rep. Gerald Koh has magical foresight eh. It's like he took out the class list, closed his eyes and randomly muttered out some strange incantations and voices in his head tells him Xueli should be Class rep. He didn't even need a dart or a pencil.

And some videos while I was randomly on youtube. It's boring at first I know. But the first video started with a brief short entrance movie and The Rock style is that he always soak in the atmosphere every time the crowd gave a huge reaction. So there's lots of delays all that. Don't take that away from the quality though, he did a great promo, and the crowd were all going nuts.

The CRA tutor is amazing. I mean, there were lots of slides remaining with only half an hour left. I know there were some duplicate slides but that should not take the gloss off her 'victory'(our loss). Just when we all thought we might need to stay back(gosh!) or cover some in the next lecture(gasp!), miraculously, by some grace of god*ahem*, she finished it. And sad to say despite her wonderful achievement of the impossible, that lecture still sucked basically as there were lots of crap that is not understandable or readable. Have you ever tried sitting in an enclosed room, there is a radio playing those buddhist monks chants that are so slow, listen it for 2 hours? No? Then you should try it out! Don't even need to go to a temple, just hop by at LT19 every Monday 2-4p.m. I guarantee that it would be an...exciting experience.

And what do I look like to all of you? A living, walking version of the newest gossip magazines?!?! I can't possibly generate read-worthy stories all the time. You people have to provide me with ideas! That's how great authors write their stuff. You give me something to work on, I think about it, twisting it into some sick, vile, sadistic version voila~great news pop out. So do comment and don't just tempt me with some offers of a good story. Just tell me out straight damn it. Tell me tell me tell me so I could come up with something goodddddddddd.

Xy's current MSN nick is so funny. Light trumps over Darkness every time, can stick a candle into the darkness but you can't stick the dark into the light something like that. Reminds me of one episode where HBK was quoting Genesis Chapter 1.
The world was engulfed in darkness.
God said,'Let there be light!'
And there was light.
And the sun shone brightly on God's face and he felt good.
He named the light 'day', and the darkness 'night'.

*note:The above quotation IS not exact. I'm just writing some that I can remember. For exact quotations, you can always refer to the Bible. To all Christians, please...do not condemn me or curse me just because I got some sentence wrong. I swear I would pray many many times to erase myself of this sin.

Feels weird to pray to myself though...anyway, her MSN nick just made me remember about that special episode that's all. Nothing special haha. But you could stick a candle into the darkness but it will still be dark cause it's not lit OR you could stick a lit candle into the darkness and darkness would still trump. Simply blow out the flame.

Haha, just like that(snap fingers), the first week of school is over. All thanks to no tutorials for first week and no thanks to EBSK shifting to monday 4-6, causing lots of trouble and lots of complaining and lots of frustration. But I still need to go back to school tomorrow to buy the books ahhhh. Expensive and heavy, thank god SAPM didn't require us to buy any, they just recommended us to, meaning not buying obviously. Wonder why I took SAPM now, it's a mixture of FOI(oh god) and economics. And the first lecture was sooooo theory like CRA. The homework they gave us was unreadable. Ok, it's readable but it's un-do-able. So instead of listening to some repeat definitions of FOI(the lecturer was constantly asking us whether we know what the SD is) and economics(GDP=C+I+G+X-M), we talked haha. Eh what we talk about...

First thing when we arrived in the LT, Maggie asked who's in our class. I told her, the 3 bros all here, allan, henry, basically lots of guys and none of your girls are here. But xueli is in our class. Then she was so happy for awhile, until she realised that the xueli I was talking about goes with the surname of 'Ang' not 'Tan'. So while we all at the back was enjoying ourselves and laughing at our reunion, Maggie was left nonplussed on her seat. At least she has xueyen with her. Then when jh came and asked me about project groupings, he told us that mh transferred to our class. Yq wasn't happy about it, Dickson was not even listening and I was, neutral. And Maggie sat nonplussed on her seat.

And obviously the whole EBSK thing is taking up a huge portion of news column lately in bloggers, wordpress and whatever blog service you people use. Apparently it's not about EBSK that they are pissed of, since it's only 1 CU, nobody could really give a crap. Like what yw said, a 1 CU subject if you fail, you might as well drop out and go ITE.(Didn't anyone point out to him that that's discrimination?) The big fuss is not on the subject but on the teacher herself. Lots of on-goings now. Lyn called her Miss Demanding. That's still ok, since there are plenty of name-calling expletives Lyn is capable of. Maybe wait till next week when she demands more from Lyn then we can see more expletives(miss !#@!****$#!@). Xy wants to set her on fire. I think she must be playing L4D, she's imagining that the teacher is a witch and all witches must burn. Don't let xy get near any flammable stuff. As we all know yw labelled the teacher as a bitch. But that's not surprising either. Since he almost called every female in the planet a bitch. Personally, I'm still ok unless she wants to find fault in my current formal dressing. Then maybe I will somehow uncover her secret of why she demands that formal clothing must be old fashioned and lots of other weird demands. It could be in the lines of perhaps she feel inferior, that's why the abusing of authority and forces people to dress like her/inferior so that she herself looks better when she's obviously not. Or maybe she's just a sadist that wants to see people sweat, worry and fret about increasing expenses adding up to the textbooks. Or...she's just some stubborn, old-fashioned maniac that can't see any good in other things. Like my uncle who only supports the Republicans. In his eyes, Republicans, yay!!!! Democrats, booooooooooo!!!

I only realised that Hilary Clinton replaced Rice as Secretary of State when I watched the news on TV. Shit, I'm so behind. And SAPM expects us to be updated. Shit, why did I dig myself a grave. The only section of the papers I read is the sports section. And it's not like I really love to watch the news. Come to think of it, I only watched the news today cause I wanted to know the football result. Did I expect that the SAPM exam questions goes like,'Which do you think is the better investment? Andrei Arshavin at 16m pounds at age 27, or Cesc Fabregas at virtually free at age 16? State your reasons with appropriate calculations(use GM!). One word...shit.

I can't believe it, but I've been watching a TV show lately. No, not those korean dramas that xy is busy advertising to all of you right now. I'm talking about reality TV shows. No no, not American Idol as well. I'm watching the Amazing Race 14. I thought it was pretty cool. Every stage there is always something happening. Like today the current leaders didn't even know they were leading and thought they were behind cause they haven't seen anyone since they left their previous pit stop. Then the same group had a fight with another group. Then when 3 groups all arrived at the pit stop around the same time, while those 2 groups were busy arguing about whose fault was it, the 2nd group had to stand in the middle and their expression was like,'Ok, why are we here. I wanna go back to my hotel, my bed now now now now!'

Today was also the start of school. Initially I thought it wasn't. My watch told me it's Apr 19 and I was wondering whether hui or dick was pulling my leg or something when they said school starts at Apr 20. My handphone confirmed that my watch is trying to influence me to skip school. Good watch. But I still went anyway. Since I was already walking half-way there. Heard there was some changes to the bus going to TP. Wonder if it still stops by beside the bus stop. It used to save me sometimes when I erm, get up a little bit late.

And currently 3 of my books cost about like $150. Yay. I'm pretty sure SAPM will require a textbook as well so it could rise up to $200. Double yay. Then when CRA lecturer gave us 2 sets of notes, with 1 of them being pure reading material full of various acts and FRS and something about 'true and fair view', triple yay. I'm so screwed. Then the BC algebra stuff was like alien to me for a while. Great, now I'm really screwed.

Then xy was so unhappy about my reply of her asking me why was I like MIA during the holidays like not going to chalet. I only said for what. Then she and hc have to hit my head so many times with allan beside me kept on saying,'Splash Magicarp splash.' I thought I was the attraction of a circus show. Of course hc, xy and allan were the clowns. I'm the poor audience being forced to 'volunteer' myself.

Then I finally found out about my class. 06 I think. I was confused cause I was in so many different classes for the different subjects. I heard 06 has lots of familar faces. The 3 brothers reunite again. And now we just need a Zhuge Liang. No, not you Allan, you stay away.

Ah, and erm, EBSK lecture even though I only attended it for 10 mins, it was pretty funny. I mean come on! Against the likes of taxation(zzz), CRA(bleagh), BC(O.O), there really is no competition. But anyway, from what I heard from sy and read from xy's blog, the lecturer is demanding a lot and it almost seems like I have to remove all my formal clothes and replace them. That sucks. As if textbooks not enough. Yw summed it up very well: F**k you bitch! That's his first impression. And he found some interesting things in the notes she gave us. Something about enough for 2 fingers to go in or whatever. And Maggie so god damned lucky. Of all days she chose to skip, she chose the right day which is today. Sitting in the LTs for like what? 9-12.30, 1.15-4.30(for me).

I guarantee this headline will grab the attention of all of you.

Police nab Norwegian pair during high-speed sex
Haha, moment I went into yahoo and saw the headline, I couldn't resist and clicked it. And no, no porn popped out. And no, I didn't click it because I'm horny, it's because I thought this would be good research materials for my blog update entertainment. Yeah. I'm so kind. Appreciate that.

OSLO (AFP) - - A Norwegian man faces a heavy fine and a driving ban after police caught him having sex with his girlfriend while speeding on the motorway, police said Monday.

The unnamed couple, a 28-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, were caught in the act late on Easter Sunday by traffic police on the E18 highway, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) west of Oslo.

Officers who clocked the couple's silver Mazda 323 racing at 133 kilometres per hour in a 100 zone realised they were doing more than just breaking the speed limit, police told AFP.

"It was veering from one side to the other because the woman was sitting on the man's lap while he was driving and doing the act, shall we say," said Tor Stein Hagen, a superintendent with Soendre Buskerund district police.

"He couldn't see much because her back was in the way," he added.

"Why they did it on a highway with such a high risk we don't know."

After following the couple for nearly a kilometre, officers pulled the car over at a service station.

"We have taken away his driving licence because of the danger that he caused," Hagen said.

Prosecutors will decide within the next week what his punishment will be, with police having filmed the incident to use as evidence against the driver.

Hagen said he expected the man to face a fine of "several thousand Norwegian crowns" and a lengthy driving ban.

The minds of our fellow beings never fails to amaze me. Like how uncle keeps on blabbing about my nephew being the next 'Ben 10', yw thinking that Chelsea are in the finals just because they got lucky against a lousy club like Liverpool, my sis always forgetting things and expect people to bring her stuff to her school all the time, and now this. Guess they wanted to unleash their 'wild' side. Couldn't have added more thrill by having sex while speeding in a highway. Then the statement I bolded in the article? Evidence, ha! I bet the police are using it as a sex tape which they would make full use of during breaks.

But the best I saw so far was about Patricia Mok being bitter about being left out of the Star Awards again. She complained about Little Nyonya being nominated too much for 1 single category and compared it with the Oscars, where only 1 show is nominated in 1 category. Then she promptly ended the interview by saying that she won't turn up if she fails to make it into the top 20. Yeah, that's the spirit! Show some backbone! Cause that's the only way you're ever going to be in the spotlight LOL.

Woohoo, look at this article!

Shoot'em up video games sharpen vision: study
PARIS (AFP) - - Slaying hordes of bad guys -- the more the better -- in fast-paced video games improves vision, a study published Sunday showed for the first time. Far from being harmful to eyesight, as some had feared, action games such as Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, or Left 4 Dead provide excellent training for what eye doctors call contrast sensitivity, the study found.

Contrast sensitivity is the ability to notice tiny changes in shades of grey against a uniform background, and is critical to everyday activities such as night driving and reading. It often degrades with age.

The findings, published in Nature Neuroscience, reveal a previously unsuspected adaptability in the brain, and could open the way to new therapies, the researchers said.

"This is not a skill that people were supposed to get better at by training," said Daphne Bavelier, a professor at the University of Rochester in New York state and the study's lead researcher.

"It was something that we corrected for at the level of the optics of the eye -- to get better contrast detection you get glasses or laser surgery."

"What we found is that even without this correction you can help your brain make better use of whatever information is received from your retina," she said in a phone interview.

For the study, Bavelier and three colleagues conducted two sets of experiments.

In the first, they compared the contrast sensitivity of hard-core action game players with video game aficionados of the same age who preferred less rapid-fire fare.

In action games, players typically target and shoot figures that pop up suddenly on a computer screen.

The researchers found that the action buffs were 50 percent more efficient at detecting contrast.

But there remained a chicken-or-egg question: had their vision been improved by playing, or did they become action game players because they had better than average contrast sensitivity to start with?

To find out, Bavelier asked two groups of non-action video game players to undergo 50 hours of training. One played a popular point-and-shoot game called Call of Duty, and the other played a game that offered a rich visual experience, but one bereft of action.

"We found that the people in the first group improved by 43 percent, and the other group not at all," she said.

As important, the study also found that the improvement was not transitory. "The positive effect remained months, even years after training, indicating long-lasting gains," she added.

Is there some limit beyond which playing action games loses its positive effect or becomes detrimental? Can you, in other words, have too much of a "good thing"?

"For your visual system, probably not. For your social life, perhaps," said Bavelier.

You know what this means? This means that I have a justifiable reason on why I play games like L4D often now. It's to improve my eyesight! Yeah! This also explains why Henry's sight is not very good. He plays games like Dota and GE. Those are not shooting games. I knew playing games are good. Now I could use this to convince my parents haha.

Hey N.Korea just launched a missile. So...does this means the world will end up like a video I posted some time ago? You know, the one with the famous 'WTF, mate?'. Wait, I bet you guys don't know. I don't think any of you takes anything I post here seriously anyway. Maybe it's cause these events are from somewhere further away, you think it won't affect you. Fine, how's this for a change? Someone died while eating rojak from a Geylang food stall. And erm, I think around 100 more are now in hospital due to food poisoning from the same food, from the same stall. Better be careful of what you eat yw, since you frequent that place often. And someone from pasir ris died. Apparently she slipped when she was trying to retrieve her bamboo pole. How's that for distance then? Do I have your attention? Obviously not. Maybe I should write about ManU dramatic late win then people like Dick and Allan will flood my tagboard about the greatness of ManU (come let's sing glory glory United!) Arrrrpshhhhh. Eh, let's not leave out what yw may write. He would write about how lucky ManU was, and Chelsea will still be Champions. But if I write about football, those female viewers won't even tag my board, or if they do, they would express their utmost dissapointment at a post that has no entertainment value to them whatsoever. See, that's the heavy burden I have, having to search all corners of my brain looking for something that would appeal to all.

So to those of you who hoped against all hope that something epic would be posted around now, well, sad to say, hope is the first step to dissapointment. Nothing to talk about. But we do have lots of world leaders now that are very angry and wants to take action againt N.Korea. But we all know speech never always amounts to action. They are just going to talk about how N.Korea should be punished and comes out with numerous punishments but at the end of the day, Obama and the N.Korean president will shake hands and give each other a pat in the back and flash their toothy grin of theirs. What happened to the animosity of the past? Well, they will put it down and say it's for the sake of world peace my friends. Yay.

And anyone knows when school is reopening? I got no clue. Is it next week? Can someone just tell me? I almost thought I missed 1 week of school already cause someone in msn told me she's studying in the school lab on one fine weekday. Holy shit, school term have not even started.

I just watched this show with uncle on some channel. It's a game show about some Americans in a Japanese game show. It's like survivor series, there are 2 teams that compete with each other in various games, the loser team has to kick someone out until only 1 person is left to win the prize of 25m yen. The episode I was watching has 1 team with 4 person left(team penguin) and the other with 3(team monkey). Yeah weird names. So today's challenge was quite weird and funny lol. Japanese people are really very erm...innovative. You know in those carnivals there is this game where people can sit inside something and it would auto spin around and around for sometime? Yeah so it's something like that. The contestants have to dress like babies; sit inside that thing and let it spin around for sometime. Then 1 judge would press a button and it would stop, letting the member closest to exit and the machine would start spinning again. The released guy must collect some milk with 2 jugs and get past various obstacles. The very first is to walk through some spinning disk. Imagine spinning for quite some time before and you have to balance yourself on some spinning disk lol. The worst thing is, you cannot fall off the disk or you have to go back to the first disk and advance again. And even if you spill all the milk, you cannot refill and you must complete the whole circuit nevertheless. After getting past the disk, you have to climb over some small obstacle and be distracted by some mist then finally pouring whatever milk left into a milk bottle before quickly going back to the spinning machine and press the button, releasing another team mate to do that circuit while you have to go into the machine and get spinning. The whole cycle continues until time runs out. I did'nt get to watch how team penguin did. My uncle just randomly switched channel lols. But we watched a part of team monkey. This guy out of the 3-person team was bad, twice he did the circuit, twice he did'nt manage to pour any milk into the bottle cause he spilt all of it during the spinning disk. Another girl(A) did slightly better only. Girl B did the best. She managed to keep lots of milk. But in the end, team monkey lost and they have to decide who gets eliminated.

Their elimination process is something like survivor also. Lots of politics going on. The team would vote on who would be left out of the elimination process and the rest would fight in another event and the loser gets eliminated. I like it that way, rather than voting to eliminate someone directly. So logic says that girl B, who performed the best, should be exempted from the elimination process and let that man and girl A fight it out. However, the beauty of life is the unpredictability of it. Apparently, girl A and B made a pact wayyyy before about how those 2 would work together and will not vote for A to be in the process. Man steps into their conversation and politely states that if he's in the fight, he would fight no matter what, no matter who, to ensure he stays in. So girl B faces a dilemma. Should she do what she had promised and let the man and her do battle? Or would she do the logical thing by backing out and let the man and girl A fight instead? In the end, girl B chose the former. And in the end, the guy won the event and girl B, arguably the best member, was eliminated. It was kinda weird to see that. Uncle and I thought that the girl would break her promise but she did'nt. In my opinion, that's a huge mistake.

What is the right decision? Is sticking to one morals and doing what's promised right, or is doing things logically even though it may be morally wrong the right choice? The world is not black and white; we live in a grey area, where good and bad are separated by a very thin line. But what exactly is good or bad anyway? Can we say that a robber is wrong? But what if the robber is only doing what he does best to provide a living for a family? Then what he does, in a certain point of view is right. But we do not have the power to judge what things are. Society does. Society tells us what good or bad is. It may not be correct, but we always stand by the opinions of the masses. If you think otherwise, you will be left out and viewed as an outsider, someone in the wrong side. That's why leaders always try so hard to garner support during an election. It's always easier to lead when people agree with your ideals. Who would listen to 1 man whose ideals may be grand but no one cares? Ultimately any 1-crusade are doomed to failure cause you're only 1 man standing against the world. So was girl B right? I don't know. To me it's wrong. Why sacrifice yourself when you know you are much better? Why bother helping someone much inferior just because you made a promise earlier? Rules were meant to be broken, promises made to be forgotten. I guess I do not have the right to judge her. It's her choice, and we have to respect that. What would you do however, in that situation? Put yourself into trouble because you made a promise, or would you play safe and remain in the competition to compete for the 25m yen. Food for thought.
