What potentially could be disastrous, turns out to be rather good.

Actually I take that back, it's not that good. Allow me to explain. Today work as usual, nothing happen. Suddenly my boss see me rather free so she gave me an assignment to do. It was a chore, a new batch of companies to be updated, 1267 of them. So after finishing it, I felt a bit weird, the records only showed 1000 companies while I was told that I would be doing 1267 of them. Brushing it off as my boss calculation/memory problem, I handed her the assignment feeling rather pleased for my timely submission. I should have known better; turns out that the 1000 companies was the earlier batch that I've done, no wonder the names were so blatantly familiar! So she told me kindly that I've done the wrong batch and I have to re-do and I was feeling not that happy now. You know, staring at a spreadsheet with thousand of cells and you keep scrolling down typing 'N' on the same column, I somehow keep seeing it as Zzzzzzz. Now I have to go through all that Zzzzz again. So in the midst of correcting my blunder, my boss gave to me and told me that she compared my work with the work she done for that batch (since it was already done, I did double work lmao) and found out that 18 companies did not match. So I went through them and found out (to my hidden pleasure), that they actually did it wrongly and left out 18 which I pointed out. So my earlier work was not in vain after all hahahahahahaha! bad news is, got additional 18 companies to work on liao. Damn it.

Yes, tomorrow have to go school zzzz. Saturdays were meant for me to sleep, relax and enjoy, not going to school! Nvm, quickly go and come back haha.

Very enjoyable SIP so far, I've been kept busy with work, sometimes finish too fast just go to their intranet and read their news lol. Very troublesome though, phone calling cannot talk too much, say something wrong could land in trouble. Like for eg, if I want to ask how old you are, I can't directly say,'My system shows that you are 36.' Noooo, I have to play around with words using scrabble like,'Hmmm...what were you doing at 1967?' And if the person reply,'Oh 1967, I was in secondary school you know.' It means that person is roughly 55+ years old. Not that we ask for their age, but I mean other stuff. And my colleague say must sound zai one, cannot keep ehhhh, ermmmm, uhhhh, ahhhh. Walan, talk what like that, and she says I've to start calling next week! Noooooooooooo

But, the good thing is, I've done lots of their work already so they were pretty pleased (I think), and apparently the very big boss is happy as well as suddenly my supervisor came and told us all that VBB just allowed us to knock off at 5! Woohoo, yesterday go off earlier at 5.30, today at 5. Why not we continue the trend by knocking off at 4.30 on Monday eh? How's that? And why was I allowed to leave earlier yesterday? Cause I reported work earlier at 8 due to some other subquest stuff I've to do. As a receptionist for this trade seminar event! And it's not boring and lame too, there were pretty OLs around, this guy just handed me his name card (not sure for what, I just kept it lol), and after all the guest went into the hall, we could have the leftover buffet, chicken wings hohoho.

Then Dick and I decided to name someone You-Know-Who, or The Slacking Lord, It-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, cause saying the name out directly is bad for health. Wouldn't want to catch the slack bug during SIP would you. And it has a problem with me calling Dick, Dick. Why, what's wrong? Nothing to do so the head is filled up with weird stuff? Pfffffft, stay away from me! And stop watching dramas during work, you're influencing your colleagues to do exactly the same. Bad it.

And nowadays when I come home, there's this people from the NHF? National Heart Foundation I think. First time the person kept on talking about donations and when she finally asked for me age and I told her 19, it was to my pleasure that she said that I'm too young to donate(Phew!). Today was worse, another girl came to me and I was about to tell her my age but she kept on yapping away and I just don't know how to cut across her. Talk all the way until about filling up some form and she must have thought I'm seriously considering to donate cause she had to wave her hands to get my attention when I'm actually thinking 'shit shit oh shit' and not reading the leaflets she gave me. Then when she asked for my NRIC, I just handed it to her and she suddendly goes, Oh you're 19. Sorry you can't donate. PHEW! Next time, I'm just going to walk around CS.

Hmmm...finally get to rest. It's so tiring, staring at the computer screen for all the data and making sure they are correct and needed to put into the excel spreadsheet which has around 3600 cells. Bloody hell. Not so bad though the work, just sooo tiring. I wrote my reflections for the week and passed it to the supervisor before I left and she was laughing at it with the other colleagues. What's so funny, I wrote the truth!

I feel so accomplished though. I only spent a total of $5.30 for the 3 days of work. I spent even lesser during school days.

Ah, and my GPA dropped again. At least no supp haha.

So, today's the day where I finally get to know where I'm attached to. Hurray for only 1 day to prepare before work. But on Sunday, I was really confused. I still didn't know where will be my workplace then, and when I woke up, I received a sms like:
Hi Fuat, tmr come office we discuss abt projects.
Something like that. First thing I thought was, is this my SIP? Then obviously it's not, my name is not Fuat. Haha, too paranoid I guess. After all the crap waiting, found out that I'm posted to DBS, somewhere in Tanjong Pagar. My job scope makes me feel like I'm working as a stalker though, what's with the performing searches and analysis and interpretation. Yq got the worst though, some sort of presentation stuff. And don't mind the pay. It's nothing to worry about. Worry more for your exam results that are coming on Wed/Thurs. Imagine going to work first day, you receive a sms, then you have to regrettably inform your supervisor that you need to apply for 2 days leave.

SIP is pretty funny. Saw Yw just now and he was telling us Jh got the worst deal, he's been posted in Jurong East. And the best part is, according to Yw, Jh was laughing at the 3 others that were posted to Clementi and then the LO went and dropped the bombshell on Jh. Sad.

And the same Yw went to on his loudspeaker when Hc called. He asked,'How's work?' Then a string of vulgarities came out. Ok, so I guess it's pretty bad for her then. 3 days lectures pffff. She was cursing me in her sms too. Go study your audit lah ok. Don't bother me.

And I realised that I don't have to wake up so early for the first day lah haha. I just read the paper and it says that I just have to report to the PWC building by 8.30 then get my stuff, then head to the DBS building. Then for subsequent days, head directly to the DBS building by 8.30. Wa, if for first day must reach DBS by 8.30, can't imagine how early I must be up to travel liao.

And Henry will be responsible for all your tax reliefs and rebates stuff, want more deductions, just be nice to him eh.
